Pictures from the Migrant Community Outreach in Williams, CA
On Saturday, July 19, over 30
people from our church joined with several other churches in the area to
minister to a migrant farm worker community in Williams, CA. We
distributed clothing and personal hygiene packages for the adults of
each family and gave stuffed animals and other gifts to the children.
The day was full of live music, piņatas, and fun games for the kids. We
provided a hotdog lunch for everyone and ended the over 100-degree day
day with pop-cycles from the "paletas" cart. Everything,
including lunch, was free to everyone in the camp. We were happy to be
able spend the day with these folks and to share the Good News through
our service.
